FISHING REPORT - 2021

FISHING REPORT - 2021

Been a long time since I have updated this fishing report.  I have been off the water tying my offshore trolling lures and I am just now getting back to fishing once again.  The water and the air temperatures are cooling down and the bait is pouring out of all the inlets.  Large groups of Spanish mackerel and false albacore are taking advantage of the easy food.  Large pods of spanish and albacore are all over the beach from the Besufort Inlet to the Cape Lookout shoals.  King mackerel are also doing very well along the beaches and the near shore wrecks and reefs.  Inshore the red drum bite continues to be very good and the speckled trout bite is picking up as well.  Offshore the wahoo bite is gaining momentum and should be going strong the rest of this season.
