Collection: Big Hole

What the big hole is for

Big Hole heads are made for dredges and teasers. The oversized center hole fits over hookless bait and lets you change a ballyhoo by slipping the loop eye through the head, as Salt Water Sportsman describes, so a washed-out bait is a quick swap instead of a re-rig.

The Fisherman notes that dredges hold from 12 to 48 ballyhoo in one to three tiers, commonly with skirted baits on the inside and naked baits on the outside.
